UK Top 15 Law Firm Berwin Leighton Paisner Selects FloSuite as Enterprise Business Process Management (BPM) Solution
FLOSUITE LTD., a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM) software to professional services firms, today announced that Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) has selected FloSuite BPM as their foundation for business process modelling and process management.
BLP is a top City of London law firm with 938 people, including 449 solicitors, of whom 141 are partners in the firm and turnover of over £102m*. A recognised technology innovator within the legal sector, in 2004 BLP was voted Law firm of the Year at The Lawyer awards and Janet Day named IT Director of the Year by the British Computer Society (BCS).
Janet Day, IT Director at Berwin Leighton Paisner, said: “We selected FloSuite after reviewing a wide variety of products on the market - not just those focusing on the legal sector. The selection took into account the technologies behind the toolkit, the flexibility it offered in design and development, the scope for rapid implementation of integrated business processes and our confidence that we could work well with the FloSuite team. The decision is a natural progression in BLP's continuous drive to improve the efficiency of our business processes. We are all very excited at the opportunity this presents us to enhance our legal service offerings as well as make internal processes more straightforward.”
The solution will integrate ‘best of breed’ third party systems at BLP, which include the Elite Practice Management System (PMS), InterAction Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Interwoven WorkSite Document Management (DM).
Russell Wood, Commercial Product Manager, FloSuite Ltd., said: “FloSuite has been purpose-built, using .NET, Web Services and XML throughout, to address the complex process, integration and people interactions typified by knowledge-based professional services work. Winning this opportunity at BLP is especially satisfying for us since FloSuite was selected following a rigorous evaluation, driven by David Wood, Business Projects Manager at BLP, of the leading BPM and workflow tools available in the market.”
