The firm wished to support these commercial objectives
by contracting FloSuite Ltd to improve key business
processes through deployment of its flexible BPM
solution. The FloSuite Web-delivered BPM solution, built
using the latest Microsoft .Net tools and industry
standards, offered the best fit to match the
requirements of this prestigious London law firm based
on:
- The product’s ability to simplify the underlying technical issues involved in BPM; and
- Enable end users to easily capture, change and
manage client, case or workflow-centric business
processes
Implementation:
Initial roll-out has been targeted at administrative procedures that involve updating information held in multiple computerised systems, such as new client/matter inception and new employee/leaver processing. As part of the FloSuite deal, Mishcon de Reya have received process management consultancy, training and support services. Initial deployment is focused on new client/matter inception, including:
- Integration of key applications, including InterAction, Elite, Interwoven WorkSite and Microsoft Exchange
- Money laundering procedures
- Credit checking
- Conflict of interest checking
- Letter of engagement production
- Approval processes based on values and data
Second phase deployment priorities include:
- New employee start – including creation of phone extension and voicemail, updating internal phone directory, creating IT user accounts and log-ins, configuration of applications, equipment orders, updating hardware asset list
- Staff leaver processes – including termination of IT user accounts, termination/redirect for phone and voice mail accounts, password resetting, equipment return and collection reminders, updating internal phone directory, updating hardware asset list, deletion of staff profile and mailbox
